| 1. Homestead garden (Badi): Maize-Toria/Tomato/Brinjal/Chilli or maize-fallow. |
| 2. Upper uplands (Marhan):Millets, Niger, Horsegram, Tubers. |
| 3. Lower uplands (Tikra): Rice, Millets, Blackgram, Niger, Horsegram, Maize. |
| 4. Midlands (Mal): Medium duration rice-fallow. |
| 5. Lowlands(Gabhar): Long duration rice-fallow or gram/vegetables/linseed. |
